Travel and Terrain Advice

Be aware of slabs that have formed from the most recent snowfall. Even if the snowpack feels stable, avalanches can easily occur in areas of convex terrain with a sufficiently steep slope. In the southern part of the mountain range, the snowpack is still low and the forest is exposed to numerous "terrain traps". Please be careful of holes in gully bottoms and shrubs exposed from the snowpack.
