Travel and Terrain Advice

Fresh wind deposited slabs have formed at higher elevations across easterly slopes, look for sighs of fresh wind pressed snow around ridgeline or cornice formation as and indication where this latest new snow has been transported. At lower elevations in the tree line storm slabs can be found on multiple aspects with lower volume pockets of soft slab triggered on the 27th. Take the time to asses open slopes in the tress at lower elevations and look for any new activity in the area you are travelling in. Below treeline remain cautious of river crossings and of buried hazards just below the snow surface.
