Yesterday (7th), multiple surface avalanches of size 1 have been observed in the below treeline. Both are due to slabs formed locally on the terrain, and due to snowfall that occurred until the morning of the day.
The snowfall (15-20 cm in the upper part of the below treeline) that occurred until yesterday (7th) morning is responding to human stimuli as of yesterday. Above the forest limit, there is a lack of information on this condition, and uncertainty remains high. In the field, find out how much of this instability still remains. However, this instability is dispersed in various parts of the terrain due to the wind, and if you are inexperienced, please deal with safety measures using the terrain such as reducing the slope. It is also necessary to keep in mind that at high elevations, yesterday, the south wind during the day, and the north wind from night to this morning.
The Japan Meteorological Agency forecasts southern wind, daytime, northern wind, sunny weather, and a maximum temperature of 2℃ (elevation 418m) for the northern part of Nagano prefecture.
