アルパイン Fair アルパインで行動する際は賢い選択が必要です。特定の急斜面にはウインドスラブが形成しており、人の刺激に反応する脆弱性が残っています。稜線の下方にある風でパックされたような滑らかな斜面は避けたほうがいいでしょう。Smart choices are needed when choosing terrain in the alpine. Lingering weaknesses remain that are producing results in specific steep angled terrain where wind slabs that have formed early in the week appear to be reactive to moderate loads. Visual clues such as smooth wind-pressed pockets of slab below ridgeline should be avoided on lee slopes.

行動と地形の助言
風雪が一週間続き、特定の地形では人的な刺激に対する反応が残っています。今後、数日は、地形の選択がとても重要です。特に標高の高いところや、風の影響が強いところでは、慎重に行動する必要があります。グライドクラックが開き始めている場所がありますが、こうしたクラックは斜面上部から視認できないので警戒してください。Reactive slabs appear to remain in specific terrain after a week of new snow and high winds. Terrain choice remain important in the coming days and taking a cautious approach especially in the alpine and on high consequence terrain remains important. Glide cracks have begun to open in multiple areas across the region, these openings are not always visible from above.

ウインドスラブ Wind slab
数日間の強風によって、地形局所にウインドスラブが形成しています。これらのスラブは稜線直下の急斜面で反応をみせています。Pockets of slabs have formed after multiple days of strong to gale-force winds have deposited fresh wind load on specific terrain on the lee. These slabs appear to be reactive on steep angled terrain below ridgeline.
概要
雪崩
北東斜面でサイズ３（家などを壊す規模）の発生報告がありました。破断の深さは50 cm程度、幅は150 m程度で、500mほど流下しています。この雪崩は今週の降雪が風で移動し、雪庇の崩落をきっかけとして発生したものと思われます。ただ、自然発生なの、人為的なものであるのかははっきりしません。A size three avalanche (large enough to destroy a house) has been reported on a North East Aspect below ridgeline. The crown is on average 50cm deep, roughly 150m wide and ran roughly 500m down the mountain. It appears that this slab was wind loaded new snow from earlier in the week and may have been triggered by a cornice faluire. it is unclear if ths avalanche occured naturally or was skier triggered.
積雪
最も懸念されてるのは積雪表層付近の不安定性です。風下側に新たに形成したスラブ、中程度の荷重で反応しているようです。積雪の下層は結合を強め、強度を増しています。Near-surface instabilities cause the greatest concern at present. Newly deposit wind load on lee slopes appears to be reactive to moderate loads. Below this, the pack is gaining strength and bonding.
天候
15 cmの降雪があり、さらに本日も降雪が続く、予報がでています。週末は西寄りの風も収まり、落ち着いた天候になるとのことです。Up to 15cm of new snow has been recorded overnight with further snowfall forecast during Saturday. We will have light winds from the West over the weekend as a period of settled weather continues.
