Travel and Terrain Advice

Pay attention to the presence of storm slabs, which are formed on the steep slopes of the high elevation zone. Care should be taken to induce in places where the slope changes sharply or on steep slopes with sparse trees. Since there is still little snow at low elevations, there are exposed “terrain traps” such as deep gullies, cliffs, rocks, and standing trees that increase damage even if the size of avalanches that occur is small.
