Travel and Terrain Advice

Note the joining of the new storm slabs. It is necessary to pay attention to triggering in places where the slope changes sharply. Merging is unlikely to be progressing at high elevation bands. Be careful of “terrain traps” such as cliffs and deep rivers, which increase damage even if the scale of avalanches that occur is small. Also, be aware of the presence of groups above and below you.

概要

Avalanche

Yesterday, there was a report that multiple small surface avalanches were observed due to human stimulation on the western slope of the forest belt at an altitude of 1300-900m.

Snowpack

Yesterday's snowfall was about 30-40 cm, and it has gradually settling. In this snowfall, there are places where coupling is bad, and shooting cracks and small (size 1) surface generating avalanches were observed yesterday due to human stimulation. Bonding in the middle layer of snow cover is good.
