Travel and Terrain Advice
Following yesterday, it's the first day of spring. Watch out for changes in snow during the day on slopes with low elevations and strong effects of solar radiation and warming. An avalanche of wet snow is so heavy that you can easily scoop up your feet, even if it's small. If there is a cliff, a shrund, or a swamp below it, it will be a serious ending. On the other hand, there is still dry snow on the north side of the elevation, but be careful of the windslab that remains locally. Also, since there are many exposures of hard snowy surfaces hit by the wind, be wary of slipping. The weather is slowly going downhill. Have a nice day

概要
Avalanche
Yesterday (2/28), a size 1 surface avalanche occurred in the below treeline due to human inducement. Also, in places with low elevations, a large number of point avalanches of size 1 wet snow occurred due to the effects of daytime temperature and solar radiation.
Snowpack
There was no consistent rainfall this season, and we reached March, but yesterday's solar radiation and rising temperatures resulted in spring conditions all at once. Due to the strong sunlight and the rising temperature, many point-generated avalanches occurred in the lower part of the below treeline during the day, resulting in stop snow during the day, and lost strength on the steep slopes. There is still dry snow on the north side of the elevation, but there is still a sluggish wind slab in the area that becomes a terrain pocket.
Weather
The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts southern wind, rear, north wind, sunny, later, cloudy, rain or snow from the evening, and a maximum temperature of 9℃ (elevation 418m) for the northern part of Nagano prefecture. At the foot of Mt. Hakuba (elevation 703m), the temperature is -6.7℃ (as of 5:00), and there is no snowfall in the past 24 hours.
