Avalanche information is the “current status” as of the morning, so please be aware of changes in snow due to rising temperatures during the day. Today, even if it is cloudy and there is no solar radiation, if the temperature rises to the extent predicted, the strength of the snow on the snow cover surface layer will be lost, as in the previous day, and point occurrence avalanches of wet snow will likely occur. Wet snow is so heavy that it scoops your feet even if it is a size 1. Please be wary of both below and above yourself. Also, slopes with glide cracks have an increased risk of Glide avalanche avalanches. Don't get into cracked slopes. Also, when passing beneath it, make sure you get a good distance and move quickly. Have a safe day

Yesterday (12th), many point occurrence avalanches of wet snow of size 1-2 were observed in the below treeline. Several full-layer avalanches of size 2 have also been observed.
Yesterday (12th), a very strong westerly wind was blowing near the main ridge line, and the snow up to the forest limit did not loosen much due to that influence. On the other hand, at low altitudes, due to the effects of temperature rise and solar radiation, the surface layer of the snow cover became wet, causing a large number of point-generated avalanches.
The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts southern winds, cloudy weather, morning to early morning, sunny, and high temperatures of 19°C (elevation 418m) for the northern part of Nagano prefecture. At the foot of Mt. Hakuba (elevation 703m), the temperature is 1.2 degrees Celsius (as of 5:00), and there has been no new snowfall in the past few days. At 14:00 yesterday (12th), 13 degrees Celsius was recorded at the foot of the mountain. The same or higher temperature rise is forecast today as well.
