信頼度:○ good □ Fair △ Low
At low altitudes, try to stay away from slopes with glide cracks. Also, when passing below it, please use a principled manner of behavior that moves quickly at intervals. On the other hand, at high altitudes, try to avoid characteristic terrain where snow accumulation is prone to instability, such as very steep slopes, or convex or unsupported shapes. Also, when visibility is poor, think especially carefully about whether there is an outbreak zone above you. Have a safe day
Yesterday (19th), a full-layer avalanche of size 1.5 was observed in the below treeline. In addition, point-generated wet avalanches due to ski cuts have also been observed in the upper part of the below treeline. The weather is bad and there is no information on high altitude locations, but many avalanches of storm slabs of size 1-2 have been reported in the neighboring Hakuba Mountains.
At low altitudes, snow melting is progressing rapidly due to rainfall and rising temperatures. As new glide cracks appear, etc., it is necessary to be vigilant against Glide avalanche. On the other hand, in places with high altitudes, the combined state of fresh snow and old snow is not very good as of yesterday, and avalanches have occurred due to human stimulation. In some parts of the mountain range, there was also snowfall until this morning, so continue to pay attention to the condition of the storm slab.
The Japan Meteorological Agency predicts northwest wind, later, west wind, rain or snow, cloudy, and a high temperature of 7 degrees Celsius (elevation 13 m) from the afternoon for the Joetsu region of Niigata prefecture. On the sea side west of the Myoko Mountains, where clouds were coming in, snowfall of about 20 cm in the past 12 hours at an altitude of 1,000 m or more.
