Travel and Terrain Advice

Pay attention to the presence of new storm slabs. Attention should be paid to provocation on steep slopes where the slope changes sharply. Even if the size of an avalanche is small, be careful of “terrain traps” such as rocks, cliffs, and cracks that increase damage when washed away. It is forecast to clear up during the day. Also keep in mind the possibility of point-generated wet snow avalanches from large south-facing steep slopes.
