Travel and Terrain Advice
Keep in mind the presence of extremely steep wind slabs just below the ridge and branch ridges. There are numerous exposed "terrain traps" such as rocks and gullies where even small avalanches can cause extensive damage. Be careful of collisions with rocks thinly concealed by the snowfall.

No new avalanches were reported yesterday (27th).
Snowpack
Due to the winds up to yesterday, wind slabs have formed on the ridge and just below the branch ridges, but bonding is good. Due to the recent rainfall, faceting layers have been observed inside the old snow at elevations below approximately 2500m.
Weather
As of 6:00, the temperature in Murodo is 0.7℃. The Japan Meteorological Agency is forecasting clear skies and cloudy mornings and evenings, as high pressure is expected to prevail, but with the influence of moist air mainly in the mornings and evenings.
