信頼度:○ good □ Fair △ Low
Note the presence of storm slabs on open, steep slopes with few trees. There are exposed "terrain traps" such as deep gullies, cliffs, rocks, and standing timber that can increase damage even if the size of the avalanche that occurs is small. At lower elevations, exposed bushes make running difficult. Care must also be taken to avoid falling into gully. Even if you are on a low slope below treeline, be aware of the large avalanche terrain that exists above you. Solar radiation is expected to affect the area during the day. Be aware of the possibility of wet snow avalanche loose snow avalanche from large steep slopes to the south.
Beware of triggering on open steep slopes.
Several human-triggered size 1 slab avalanches were observed yesterday (6th) on steep slopes below treeline. No observations below treeline due to stormy weather.
In areas where there is a large snow cover, more than 200 cm of snow has fallen as a result of this stormy weather, and settling is gradually progressing and bonding is rising.
As of 6:00 am, there has been no snowfall in the past 12 hours at AMeDAS Fujiwara. The Japan Meteorological Agency is forecasting clear skies and cloudy skies from midday in the foothills of northern Gunma Prefecture due to low pressure and moist air.
