概要

Avalanche

A human-triggered size 2 (enough to bury a person) was recorded through gate 5 at Niseko Untied on the the 21st of February. The rider was was not caught and traversed out of the slide path.

Snowpack

Periods of broken sunshine over the previous few days has created a sun crust on the southerly slopes. We have received up to 50cm in the early part of the week with higher total in the North of the range. The mid to lower snowpack appears to be well bonded with any concerns within the latest new snow.

Weather

Calm condtions will round out the week with light to moderate west to north west winds, snowfall will continue in the coming days.
