Below Treeline Good Beware of high daytime temperatures and the effects of solar radiation
信頼度:○ good □ Fair △ Low
Below Treeline conditions are completely spring. Slopes that were hard and frozen in the morning lose strength by noon due to rising temperatures and solar radiation, causing wet snow point avalanches. Wet snow is very heavy, so be on your guard. Be on the lookout for slides on frozen slopes in the morning and wet snow avalanches from noon. On large steep south-facing slopes, conditions are such that large scale loose snow avalanches can occur, so be vigilant above yourself. At lower elevations, snowmelt is also advancing from the bottom of the snowpack. Snow bridges are more likely to collapse, so even on the way down, keep your eyes open for areas where the snow has lost strength. Take adequate sun protection and have a good day.

Do not enter the glide crack slope. Also, be wary of snow blocks on the cliff.
Yesterday (March 6), several loose snow avalanches (size 1-2) were observed on the east to south facing slopes below treeline. Glide avalanches of size 1-1.5 were also reported.
Yesterday, high temperatures were recorded at 7.91°C (13:00) at AMeDAS Sekiyama. This, combined with strong solar radiation, caused numerous loose snow avalanches Below Treeline. Hard old snow is exposed on the ridges. On the north side of the higher elevations, the snow is still dry.
