Below Treeline conditions are spring conditions. Slopes that were hard and frozen in the morning lose strength by noon due to rising temperatures and sunny slopes, causing wet loose snow avalanches. Wet snow is very heavy and easily scoots underfoot. Be on the lookout for slides on frozen slopes in the morning and wet snow avalanches from noon. On the large steep south-facing slopes, conditions are such that large scale loose snow avalanches can occur, so be vigilant above yourself.
