It will be a good time to travel cautiously and slowly and enjoy the comfortable weather. Travel conditions may be icy and difficult on the way up, especially on steeper terrain and then soft and sticky on the way down. The snowpack has been saturated with previous days rain and avalanches that start small may become large and dangerous on any terrain. Talk with your riding partner about what you see and changes you feel in the snow as you travel.
Previous days rain has saturated the snow in all elevations and todays clear sky may warm the saturated snow.

Glide slab remains a concern with previous days rain and warm sunny weather in the forecast ahead.
Before previous days rain there was wet loose avalanches observed at all elevations bands as well as continued glide slab activity. Limited observations during rain event. With so much saturation in the snow, avalanches may start small and become bigger and more dangerous as they entrain snow as they move down the mountain.
Previous days rain has saturated and added weight and stress to the snowpack. The rain water will percolate down the snowpack saturating the lower snowpack more. Clear sky and warm temperatures will warm up the saturated snowpack.
Light northwest flow forecasted for today bringing mostly clear sky and temperatures above freezing at lower elevations. Expect winds to be light, moderate at times for today. The flow will change to come from the south late tonight and bring light to moderate south winds tomorrow and continued clear sky and above freezing temperatures at most elevations in region.
