There may be a small dusting of fresh snow in spots but will be on top of icy snow underneath. This icy snow will cause for challenging conditions until the snow warms and softens. When the snow does warm and soften, travel with open eyes as to what the snow is doing around you as it warms. Wet loose avalanches can start small and far away, entrain snow as they move and become large. Travel tech tip: if you choose to travel with climbing skins, bring some wax to rub on the bottom of the skins to help the snow from sticking to the climbing skins.
The previous days rain has saturated the snow and as temperatures begin to rise and the sun comes out, the upper part of the snowpack will begin too warm.

The rain from yesterday put significant water and weight into the snow pack. The snowpack is frozen in most places from a cool night, but as the sun comes out and temperatures rise, the snowpack with become warm and wet again.
An easterly flow is sweeping across the zone bringing light to moderate east winds and temperatures warm at lower elevations. Expect partly cloudy conditions. Tonight the winds will move to come from the south and and bring clear sky and warm temperatures tomorrow.
