Alpine Fair Strong wind and significant snowfall in the alpine has made for increase in risk.
Treeline Fair There was still strong winds at tree-line and heavy snow fall to expect increase in risk until further assessment.
Below Treeline Fair The winds have been less below tree line but with heavy snowfall still.

Travel and Terrain Advice
Safe and careful travel in the mountains is strongly advised. The snow is very deep in spots and can make travel very difficult, slow and tiresome. The creek exits are starting to fill in but will need more time yet. Beware of what terrain is above you higher on the mountain and the hazard this may present. Talk to your partner often and assess and manage conditions before going further.

Avalanche
Significant snowfall and strong winds at times have made concern for avalanches in all elevation bands across the forecasted region.
Snowpack
The snow pack has had significant load in the last 48hrs. Heavy snowfall and strong winds have put an increase of stress on the snowpack and how well the new snow has bonded to the snow below will take time and assessment.
Weather
Continued snow for the forecasted period with significant snowfall forecasted for most zones. General southerly flow today that will switch in the evening into a north westerly flow. Expect light to moderate winds today with the north-west flow ramping winds up to moderate tomorrow. Temps will remain below freezing today and then become even cooler with the north-west flow tonight and tomorrow.
