Alpine Fair There has been reports of windslab avalanches in alpine terrain. The snowpack has had little time to settle and will need more time to become more stable and hazard will increase with more wind and snow.
Treeline Fair Windslab avalanches have also been reported at tree-line. This may start to settle today, but beware of more loading from increase in wind and snow.
Below Treeline Fair Steep sheltered slopes below tree-line will have hazard of loose dry avalanches.

Trail breaking and travel in the back country will be deep and can be slow so plan ahead your route and time to avoid and reduce exposure to hazards. Advised to meet new terrain with caution and scouting especially creek exits as they are slowly becoming filled in.
Reports of windslab avalanches at tree-line and above. The hazard will increase as the winds do.
Loose dry avalanches in sheltered aspects below treelike. Hazard will increase with slope steepness.
There have been reports of windslab avalanches in the alpine and loose dry avalanches below tree line on sheltered slopes. Ski cuts on small test slopes have produced avalanches as well.
The upper part of the snow pack is starting to settle but will need more time to become more stable at the new snow/old snow interface.
High pressure system above Hokkaido in the morning, new low pressure coming over in the afternoon. Southerly flow for most of the day and will switch back to Northwest flow tomorrow with snow and strong winds in the forecast.
