Travel and Terrain Advice

This is a day with a mix of slopes that are stiff and hard due to the cooler temperatures and slabs that have formed from some snowfall yesterday and are not yet stable enough. When making ski cuts, be sure to assess the terrain carefully. There have been accidents in the past where people have gotten caught on hard surfaces below the slab and slipped. Consider whether there are any "terrain traps" below the slope where even a small avalanche could have serious consequences.
