Travel and Terrain Advice

Today`s rapid rise in temperature may cause slab to develop and become active. Use extra caution if travelling in the warmer parts of the day. Cornices are also soft and undeveloped and may fail with the daytime warming. A cornice fall adds significant new load to a slope and can cause it to fail with a slab release.
