With high degree of uncertainty in the alpine and excellent skiing in lower angled terrain at tree line and below it is recommended avoid the alpine unless you have a high risk tolerance are highly skilled in terrain management and snowpack assessment. A small, carefully step out mind set and a great day can be enjoyed in lower angled terrain tree line and below. Normal caution is advised. Exposure to cornices should be avoided.
West winds have slightly dropped overnight. More snow is expected today with continued Moderate west ridge top winds. Skier triggered wind slab avalanches are likely today on steep lee and cross loaded slopes.
Small rider triggered dry loose avalanches remain a problem today on slopes steeper that 39 degrees.
As more snow is expected today on top of yesterdays new snow storm slab avalanche are possible.
