Travel and Terrain Advice

Wind slabs are expected to form on the ridge and just below the branch ridges due to wind-driven snow movement since last night. Be careful of triggering wind slabs on extremely steep slopes. When regrouping after skiing, be sure to remove the avalanche terrain and regroup at the safest place possible, such as on the ridge. The forecast is for a winter pressure pattern. Please be aware of the snowfall increase and changes in snow cover conditions due to wind effects.
