Dangerous avalanche conditions. Watch out for storm slabs that form on steep slopes and wind slabs that form from wind-moved snow. It is important to pay attention to the meeting point of the slopes and choose a location with a large margin of safety. Glide cracks that have formed previously are harder to spot. Do not feel safe in the woods and be alert to where the angle of the slope changes. Inexperienced skiers are advised to ski within the ski area.
Be alert for storm slabs that have formed on steep slopes.
Winds are stronger than yesterday. Look for wind effects at lower elevations. The local danger level will increase there.
Numerous storm slab avalanches of size 1-1.5 were reported yesterday (4th) at the ski area morning safety control. Numerous shooting cracks and remote triggers were also reported where winds were present. Size 1 loose snow avalanches of size 1 were also reported on very steep slopes.
Snowfall that began yesterday (4th) has reached 50 - 100 cm in the northern part of Myoko.
