Travel and Terrain Advice

At higher elevations, watch out for wind slabs that are forming in terrain localities. Yesterday's snowfall was slight, but the wind has redistributed the snow and deposited it thickly in some areas. Underneath the new snow is a hard snow surface, so even a small avalanche can cause a slide if the slope is steep. Underneath the fresh snow is a hard, rough snow surface. It is easy to fall down, so please ski carefully. When passing under glide cracks, move quickly and keep a good distance from your companions. Even if the likelihood of occurrence is low, hitting a snow block can have serious consequences. Have a good holiday. This is the end of the avalanche bulletin for this area today. Thanks to everyone who contributed information.
