Snowpack 10-20cm thick wind slab widespread above 1300m failing easy on hand shear tests. The wind slab was hard above treeline with shooting cracks and collapsing under skis. BTL the previous storm snow is wind effected, dense and heavy, but showed no propagation potential. PPsd fell from 1300 and is now the surface layer where sheltered from the wind.
