行動と地形の助言
冬季として良い時期にありますので、バックカントリーでは、まだ十分にドライな雪で良いラインが楽しめます。週の後半には、新たな降雪が予報されていますので、現在の穏やかな気象条件の時に、自分にとって新しい場所まで足を伸ばしてみるのも良いでしょう。Good lines can still be found in the backcountry as we experience a relatively dry period of the Winter. Further snowfall is expected during the week however now is a good time to explore new terrain under calm weather conditions.
留意すべき雪崩
点発生乾雪雪崩 Dry Loose snow
人間一人の足元を掬う程度の点発生雪崩が、とても急な地形ではありえます。地形選択の際、このことを考慮してください。A single person may be able to disrupt enough loose dry snow in very steep terrain to be knocked off your feet. Consider the consequence of this when making your terrain choices.

積雪
先週にあった荒天の雪は、風が弱いこともあり、その移動量も少なく、この数日は積雪は安定しています。新たな不安定性は、次のまとまった降雪と共になるかも知れません。With little in the way of snow accumulation over the last week combined with low winds, the snowpack has remained stable and unchanged for multiple days. Little in the way of instability can be found as we wait for further snowfall.
天候
北風も収まり、穏やかな天候が、週の半ばまで続く予報が出ています。風向が西に変わると、新たな降雪が始まるサインで、この週末に向けて変化していくとのことです。Continued settled weather with the occasional snow flurry and low Northerly winds are expected through the midweek. These conditions are expected to change towards the weekend as a shift in wind direction to the West will bring new snowfall and higher precip totals.
